FOXES IN FICTION : TOUR ALL WINTER (MEGA LO-FI COMA CINEMA COVER)

Hey everybody. Sorry for the lack of posts actually related to Foxes in Fiction music or news as of late. I can assure this only because I have been working hard at new projects and recordings and it’s been keeping me pretty distracted from everything. As I posted earlier, I recently decided to leave Memoryhouse to focus more on my own projects (recordings, amassing a band, making sure I don’t forget how to socialize with people), and it were, this more of an update than an actual music post.

Either way, I’m back at my Moms house in the suburbs for a few days to help her pack up everything as she gets ready to move to a new house. I don’t have any of my instruments or recording gear here except for a 20 dollar guitar and the first electric guitar I ever owned; some half-destroyed three-stringed Washburn electric guitar that I played acoustically. Using both of them I decided to throw together this quick cover of one of my favourite songs by Coma Cinema (who I had the pleasure of meeting recently and as a result I’ve fallen in love with his entire catalog again). I didn’t leave my bed while recording it and the only means I had to record was with the microphone built into my computer so it’s considerably lo-fi. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it, I’ll probably record a better version once I get home to Toronto. Love you all, good things coming soon.
